Running boards from an 05 ranger to an 03 ranger WILL IT FIT??

My buddy had a 05 ranger xl and it had those running boards, they are like tubes with the plastic bumps on top. he took them off before he sold em, now he's giving them to me, will i be able to bolt them right on?? my truck never had running tubes before do i have to fab or make holes or should it bolt right up???

Should be fine. I think my running boards appeared to require creating a hole (didn't install them but took them off the 07).

As far as I know all 98+ reg cabs are the same as well as all 98+ supercabs but if I remember right the 2 door extended cabs are different.
