like i said, its pretty easy to figure out haha, i'm just excited, i've been waiting for about 6 weeks to get started on it. the shop took so long to make those brackets. they were going to plasma them but i think they just drilled and used a band saw or something. oh well, i have them now, welding tomorrow :)

ding ding ding, lazlers got it. I'm pretty sure 01_ranger_4x4 knew too.

it's a simple idea, but i like the looks of it. plus my truck is undergoing a make over and i think it'll suit it well.

and i suppose my sig is a dead give away, darn. oh well!

haha thats ok, you didn't spoil it, i wanted to put up those other pics. i think i'm just going to have to cut the receiver tube down a bit before hand, because my spare tire carrier will probably get in the way. (speaking of which, can i take that carrier out? does it really have any purpose once the tire is gone?)
welding tomorrow, probably paint too. then to start saving for a tire gate. or planning out to make one, which probably won't be that hard...

haha, rust just doesn't appeal to me, so its going black.

the square tube cost me $70 ( 2x2x1/4 i got a 11 foot piece of it) its also got a few pieces that will be used for license plate mounts and a tow hook for my front receiver.
brackets cost me $40 for the half inch plate and cutting
the receiver tube was $20, i figured it was easier to buy it then try to find a small section and spend $20 on a bit, it was just nicer pre made.
and the labour, well. probably a 12 pack of bud light and $20 to cover hydro.
