I'd say about an even split between me and dan as far as fabrication goes. Wiring/plumbing/assembly goes to James and Jason, and me and dan were still fabbing stuff until the afternoon the car left lol.

Well we had a blast. Unfortunately we had some mechanical issues that took us out of the race early, but we were hauling *** when it was running.

Started 10th out of 11, and by pit #3 we were in 1st with a 10 minute lead. About half-way from pit 1 to pit 2 we broke the sun-shaft in the transmission. Lost all forward gears except third. Made it half-way to pit 4 and broke the t-case. Took a DNF for the day and worked literally all night getting it back together to start day 2.

Started dead last in class on day 2. 30 miles in we had passed about 7 cars and the front driveshaft came loose, knocked a hole in the side of the transmission case and ended our race. Had a blast out there.

Starting day one.

Hard right into pit 1 on day one.

Well we got 3 hours of sleep wednesday night getting the car ready and driving from contingency to the starting line. Then no sleep thursday night doing the repairs and in the lack of sleep and rushing to put it back together only one u-bolt was tightened on the front shaft. We wern't using 4wd but just the vibrations from driving it pulled the u-joint out of that cap and started flopping around.

We were in the Ultra 4 (4400) class. It was a brand new class for King of the Hammers type rock-crawlers.
