Traction bars

I got 4 in blocks trying to find some trac bars. Buddy said it would help a lot.I’ve looked around but I don’t really know to much about them or what to look for. If anybody knows a link or just some good info on it

What are the specs of your truck? James duff makes a good above the axle setup.

Axle wrap is an issue when you have blocks, better solution might be no blocks, and different method of lifting the rear

Found this, read here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/suspen...ey-worth-9745/

First as RonD has stated, "4 inches of blocks is too much !
Are the blocks in two pieces on each axle ?

Once you have added the block the increase in the axle wrap is gong to make a standard set of Traction Bars almost useless AND there is a strong possibility when the axle does wrap it will eventually break a spring.

I know Super Lift uses 4" Blocks, but I replaced the block with a new set of rear springs, that eliminated the blocks altogether, then I use a set of Traction Bars similar to the Duff's Bars that mount on top of the ale.

BUTT, since you have the blocks and you need Traction Bars, the Duff Units will work but may bend with the 4" block because of the mounting location.

There are other types of Traction Bars that weld to the axle housing itself, more expensive than the Duff's Stuff but they will compensate for the extra block lift; you will need to eliminate the wrap at the Axle Housing not the spring.

You need to try one type and see if it works, go from there, but I'm voting on the Weld-On Type.

Good Luck on your choice, the blocks ARE the problem !
