nothing "wrong" with it, I just dont think its fitting

but I actually think exos are ugly to begin with now, so maybe thats partially why...

its not about looks its about function! Exo's may look kinda weird but you could roll your truck get out flip it over and drive away if its well built.

um yeah so you could do that with any truck with a cage and radiator protection

Exos dont REALLY protect the body and usually they are really sloppy in how far away from the body they are built and thats what makes them ugly.

if youre ready for a rollover, youre obviously ready for a lot of body damage, so wheres the clear cut advantage to a exo?

EDIT: oh and to add to my previous reply, our IFS particualrly sucks in the wheeling department, so thats part of the reason as well. theres no way you could do the wheeling that would warrant a exo and have anything bigger than 33s. I blow through CVs like toothpicks...

so exo on OUR IFS is overkill for sure...

Nice bumper and I'm loving the tire gate deal. I'm in the process of making one now.

Great idea on the extra condensor bracing, you should see mine. lol

I would dissagree again, 33's are more then big enough to get into trouble. Ive had my truck on 3 wheels and on the verge of going over when I had 33's on it.

ok let me jump back in here i am doing a solid axle swap here in the near future 3/4's and hydro steer

and i know for a fact that my 33's have been in some spot they weren't suppost to be and still got though it

and for exo-cages looking ugly i can see where you get that opinion but it all goes back to what the owner likes if the cage is close to the body and follows the lines well and is cleaned up and has some creative bends then most look good

also from what i understand exo's are not street leagle. if you plan to drive this on the road then hold off on the exo.. i too agree its over kill untill you finish your SAS. if your that conserned about rolling just get a roll bar for now. i think anythign under 35's shoot maybe even 38's is not exo worthy..

I know the feeling. I think the ifs makes the truck more prone to roll and therefore make the cage sensable. However if i had the tools to make an exo i probably would SAS first, but w/e.

had to stop working on the exo guys sorry my truck is sitting in the yard not running right now i think it is a fuel delivery problem but it may be something more then that i hope not though it started sputtering when taking off a few weeks ago and when driving down the road the other day from the fire hall it started just losing power and overheating the more i pushed the gas pedal finally it got to where it would start and would idle ok but as soon as you hit the gas it would try to die now it wont start at all so ant suggestions are appreciated
