wlder and cutter

Hello, I have a question regaurding a welder I have. It is an old smith arc welder and I need new cables for it. I was wondering if smith was still in buisness or if I could just go to a store that carrys wiring. I was also looking at purcasing a plasma cutter. I will probably be cutting different thicknesses om metals and i was wondering which one is a good on. I was looking maybe at a snap-on or at a matco, but I am open tio segestions. Thanks in advance

don't know about the welder but u should be able to pick up cables.

i've got a miller spectrum 375 plasma cutter. had it for about 5-6 yrs now works great. use it for mostly metal art(i use 14 ga) but also use it at work sometimes(machine shop). ive cut 3/4" stainlesss many times. my .02 cents.
