I CALL B.S
your the one that wants to give it "more torque"
im the one about to buy something with almost 2.5 times the displacement and a turbo that burns much more efficient fuel to take care of my torque issues.

???? and that is
come on now.. more efficient fuel than gas? Diesel's are one of the most efficient internal combustion engines there are (or so i was told)
more specifically.. vv
yea i knew it was a little less. but im too tired and lazy to precisely figure it out.
99 7.3 6 speed. 167k miles if all goes my way.

It's funny how people will always fall for a cheap way of what they think might make more power.
In truth.. if more "free power" could have been had the OEMs, they would have decreased displacement & done it years ago.
Without a doubt the most effecient way to boost daily driving power is a turbo. And that also requires remapping of timing and fuel.
It's not cheap and never will be.
