Yeah but I would like to custom make one. I wont buy something and just bolt it on. Where is the fun in that? I converted my spindles from ball joints to heims just because I wanted to work on something. So a bolt on from 'JEGS' isnt an option. Thanks anyway.

On mustang forums.com people have used the jegs kit and modified them theres a guy over there who has his purge kit blowing out of the snake on the front of the hood. What were your plans

well... youll really just need a single solenoid, a momentary switch to activate it, a bottle, and some tubing. i'd just buy a generic solenoid instead of trying to make one.

What I want is where the purge comes out of my front wheel wells. And I want to get the L.E.D. kit for it so they will be blue. I think that would look ****!

doing a perge kit has nothing to do with a prerunner, just get the jegs kit to start and mount it however, whereever you want and add whatever you want to it

why dont ya just get a street truck, with neons all over lol.... idk i guess its an original idea. umm you want the whole kit too right, or do you already have a kit and want to purge it. cause you cant purge without a bottle :)

yeah not trying to knock your idea, BUT...

imo purge kits are cool... IF you actually have a nitrous system. otherwise, youre just paying for the 'cool' factor with zero usefullness. keep in mind that when running a purge kit, you'll still need n2o and a bottle for the purge, so youll be paying for n2o refills just so you can spray it into the atmosphere. major waste of money if you ask me, especially considering that nitrous isnt really cheap. ($4 - $5/lb here in cali)

also adding the leds to the purge would be very very ricey/hokey imo.

Get the cheapest used nitrous kit you can find. It will have everything you need except some 1/8" copper tubing adapted to the solenoid. Point the copper to where you want it to spray.

You need- Bottle, line to solenoid, tubing out of solenoid, switch wired to solenoid.

I guess if you get down to it you could just screw open the bottle to purge. Just a bottle with the tubing attached. The tubing will get white frozen cold so be careful.

true ghetto would be attaching it to a $10 fire extinguisher. Can you imagine spraying a powder out. It would give a new meaning to giggle gas.

Nitrous is gay. My grandma could install a dry kit. Do some real work to the motor and get some usable HP. (usable as in streetable).

nitrous has similar properties. liquid n2o will give you very bad burns. i've never heard of a solenoid freezing up from it though...
