A guy came over to pick up a new superlift driveshaft from me. He rolled in with a 2004 4.0 stepside. dark shadow grey. Superlift kit. Explorer express SUPERCHARGER, moto black/polished wheels. It was sweet.
I showed him this site and some pics of the local trucks. Hopefully he'll sign up here and post his up. |
F*ckin sweet, i hope so too!

I did get to drive it. Couldn't really get in the rpms cause of the neigborhood. It seemed a little weak. He just moved from Denver so the altitude difference has to have an impact on the tune. I offered up a data log to see what the problem is. Well....I volunteered Kevin to do a data log. |
sweet, i wish i could have seen it.
my truck is even slower now up here at 7200 ft lol |

It seemed weak? I head that the roots style chargers, like the EE, are suppose to greatly help the low-end making the throttle feel very "peppy".

My wifes Thunderbird runs low 15 in the 1/4 mile and it pulls harder than his truck. With the xx he should be at that or faster. I'm gonna try to get a track meet set up in the next few weeks and see if he'll come out. |
what size tires was he running etc?
|
