New Towing Mirrors!! Woot woot! (F-150 content)

I was finally able to get my grubby mits on a pair of towing mirrors for my Lariat. Thanks to Scott (dixie_boysles) for working out a deal on his mirrors when he swapped the smaller mirrors back on his truck. Besides the minor issue with shipping damage that I was able to fix Im extremely happy to finally have these, now my wife wont have to here me **** and moan about not being able to see while Im towing our travel trailer. lol

With a little creative trimming of the shelf in the garage the truck fits all snug like a bug in a rug in the garage still.

Nice to have the big mirrors but do they retract at all, other than folding ?

Cutting the shelf is ok but they have a W I D E stance !

Like the blind-spot mirrors and the turn signals, not bad looking just wide, wish there was something like that for a Ranger.

You cutting the shelf reminds me of those cartoons as a kid where the coyote leaves a body sized hole after chasing the road runner. Lol

They are retracted as far as they can in the pics. They really only stick out 3" more than the regular mirrors, they are just bigger all around so they look like they stick out a mile.
