My 02 PowerStroke
Same here. It could be a nice truck without too much work, aside from the big hole left in the bed from the gay stack.
always wondered what they did to prevent that
That truck really is gay though
Either cover them with cans or something or drill a drain

You don't have to do any of that. It will never make it to the engine unless you get 100 inches of rain in a hour.
The turbo is dash height so the water would half to fill up at least half your stack

Any truck with stacks I've been around (quite a few), if it rains, all of the soot buildup in the stack gets wet and then when you start it up it blows a bunch of soot-filled water all over your bed. It soots your bed up way worse than dry soot
I wouldn't be so worried about them filling up with water as much as I would cap them to prevent your truck bed from being covered in soot.

call it gay if you want but that pulling a gooseneck and my ranger on it = pure joy....
not to mention i can still run under a 14 sec quarter mile and tow 20k lbs with ease.
id drive either one of those trucks and not be ashamed at all.
I want a 6" black stack on the superduty. I dont really care what yall think. its getting one, someday. I just need the tires, wheels, and lift. Which will all come after I get it running correctly.

I agree Zach, I'd rock either of those trucks any day. They're a little over the top for me (the wheels more than anything), but otherwise they look pretty damn clean. Also.. I wouldn't want them lifted that high haha.
I like lifted trucks. Show, crawl, whatever I just like them if they are tastefully done. These trucks are done well IMO, better than several.
I am not really a huge fan of exhaust hanging behind the tire or out under the body line somewhere, they just get dirty and run into stuff. Stacks are pretty typical and sometimes required at the track as well.

Thats what I wanna get my only problems is if I do that I need 18s and tires are like 320 up a tire t get 37s. And right now I have 16s I found a nice wheel for only 150 a wheel and there 18x9s its just tires are gonna kill me. So if any one has any good solutions thatd be great!
Also forgot I added a deep trans pan with cooling fins and a 6.0 cooler
