On a side note I drove 500 miles in it today and my MPG has gone up by 2. Doesn't sound like much, but with the 30 gallon tank that means 60 more miles range. Damn I'm good at math.

My plan is 3" drop leafs from Eibach, and 3" drop LCAs from DJM. Should look perfect without the steps, retain the slight rake, and still have an inch of gap in the front wheel well. I just need to save money to do it.

It's really about the same. F150 has 108k and Ranger has like 103k? They both get around 15 mixed. Although if I slow down to 70ish the F150 can get a little over 17. The worst I got was 12, but that was doing around 100 on average and towing a trailer with two of my friends and our motorcycles/all our **** to NC/TN and back.

I'm not gonna pretend to know a whole lot about motorcycles, other than how to operate them. But my Uncle Had a '90 Softtail he always wanted to take down there (he had cancer) so after he passed, we did a whole thing a I rode it out there for him with some of my other family members.

From what i remember, It was a lot of twists and turns. I was also pretty new to riding motorcycles as well, so that could have been why it sucked.

Yeah twisty turny goodness apparently. I've never been there but my parents drove their miata out there a few years ago for some kind of miatas at the gap event. They said it was a ton of fun seeing how far they could push the car on the curves.

Yeah it's an awesome road. Next year we're going to load our bikes on to the auto train (central florida to DC) and then ride back down and stop there on the way. This is my favorite video of the road. The bike in the video has an engine based off of mine, just with a little less power.

https://vimeo.com/34155121

Notice how there are no intersecting roads as well as all of the pull offs to let faster people pass. Everyone actually uses the pull offs and lets you pass too, which is so nice. If you enjoy driving/riding at all, I encourage everyone to go at least once.

Yeah, it wouldn't be fun on a bigger Harley and it wouldn't be fun for someone who doesn't know how to ride well.

Nice truck. If you haven't already, drop the spare tire and check out your fpdm. Take it off and look at the backside of it. A lot of them corrode through and cause all kinds of weird symptoms.
If you don't feel like going apeshit on a system, keep an eye out for a stealthbox. I found one for $150 and it sounds great.

Good info, thanks. I planned on dropping the spare to check it and the pressure this weekend so I'll do that too while I'm at it. As far as the stealthbox, I've been talking to someone at supercrewsound and am going to have him make me a custom ported box to my specs. Just need to save up some money first.

Random thought.

Have you considered swapping the newer lower valence with the round fogs?

I personally don't care for the rectangular fogs

I've been giving more thought to the truck and I don't think I'm actually going to do all too much to it, so not going to change that. I have other things I'm putting my time/energy/money to instead. I've got tires coming for it and am going to do a couple more things but not all too much. My next main focus is going to be the stereo in it. I already blew the stock sub lol.

Not the most exciting of news, but I got my tires today. Whoever placed the order hit a 7 instead of a 5 when typing my adress, so they were delievered to the wrong adress twice before I got them. Conti CrossContact LX20's, they're low rolling resistance so maybe they'll help gas mileage some too. Worth a shot.

I took this today, ironically in the town trucksgetdirty lived/lives lmao. New tires aren't on, but I'm really happy with how it sits. I've been debating weather or not to even lower it anymore. The frame is really low already, and I'm always on adventures to who knows where buying bikes so it kind of worries me. I had to drive through a ton of loose sugar sand/clay today and felt the front crossmember digging a couple times. I need to fix the exhaust alignment too.
