a small fiberglass enclosure in the cab corners, or a custom center console with a sub in that? a sub that is efficient and can work well in a small enclosure

i was looking at the box on crutchfield, the custom fit one that goes behind the Drivers seat, it looks pretty bad *** but i dont know it cost mad cash, around like 3 or 4 hundrend depending on the color... i might just get like cheap amp and see how just that sounds... baby steps

I'm using 2 8" RF subs. They bump pretty well and I still have room for my seat and a couple things like recovery straps and tie downs.

I cut the speaker slots out, but its 2 ID8s in some boxes I made. It also allows no leg room loss.

i got this sucker from circuit city awhile ago and it does alright, not real loud but it will shake ur rearview. it is incomparable thought to the solo barics i had in my 4runner years ago. But i have a reg. cab too and i cant afford to lose any room so i stuck this behind my passenger seat

For that price I got two subs and enough $ left to build boxes for them. They are only 8s but they are still moving alot more air then that one 10.

Subs were $100 a piece and then buy some MDF, glue etc for box construction. Comes to about the same as that prefab box. Im running 200rms to each of the 8s, It gets pretty dang loud for my truck. I guess if you dont wanna make your own box then the prefab wont be bad but you can do better.

You have a few options for sure, I used to have one ten then upgraded to two, but lost alot of leg room so went for the ID 8s. Each one only requires like .2 cubic feet of airspace. I have a monoblock pioneer amp and it works pretty well. Are you gonna run any speakers off the amp or just the subs?
