I posted this question once before and in waiting for prices to drop saw other tail lights become available at much better prices...so here is the winner of the first poll followed by the one I just found...

You know...I love how everything 'different' is labeled as "JDM". It's so much bull****. I bet these companies don't even know what the style is in Japan. Losers.

i will try again this weekend, and get some pics up by sunday hopefully, also got some new badges to make my emblems black instead of blue...
Dave (edg3 of cha0s) showed me i have to saw part of a bolt that holds up the tailgate cable and then it should fit with some bigger screws for the inside...hopefully all goes well, and once again thanks for all the info Dave...hope it works for me...

mine didnt fit either but i just decided to live with it because my father in law and i spent forever wiring up the extra light so that the smaller light in the middle is my turn signal and the bottom one is my tail/brake light

i have the same lights as edge of chaos

O.K. guyz....I'm gonna attempt to show and tell ya how I got my lights to fit......In this pic you will see a tab with a hole in it, (circled in red), you need to push on this tab and bend it back a little. After you have pushed the tab back a little, you will then need to cut the end of the bolt that holds the tail gate cable, (shown with red arrow), DO NOT CUT INTO THE THREADS OF THE BOLT! You just need to cut a small portion of the smooth part off at the end of the bolt. You do not need to remove the bolt to cut it unless you want to. I left it in and cut it with a hacksaw. Just be careful when it gets ready to cut through so you won't ram the teeth of the saw into your truck. Also when cutting with the saw be careful and take your time or you will jump the saw off the bolt and maybe chip some paint off your truck somewhere. After you cut a small portion of the end of the bolt off you can use the long screws from the factory lights on the outside of your new light to put it back in. How you want to wire the lights up is up to you. The short factory screws on the inside next to the tailgate you will not be able to use......They are too short and not wide enough. You can see the ones that I used in the pic laying in the bed of my truck. I used some plastic washers at the top of mine....After you do this the lights should fit just fine!
