Just picked my truck back up today.. had origionally asked for a drop down behind the wheels.. but my brother dropped the rig off yesterday for me and mistakenly told the guy for a straight back. Needless to say, i was surprised.. but he told me if I didn't like the straight back, I can drop it off and he will re-do the end piping and give me the drop downs behind the wheels.
To be honest, down a drop down wouldn't give you the tone I'm getting right now, and it is fantastic.. i could go do a short movie right now, but its fricken cold out, and dark.. and i would rather wait until tomorrow to do that anyway :-) Needless to say, here are a few pictures. Dont mind the high polish chrome vs. my muddy look.. I didn't have a chance to clean my truck up before bringing it into the shop, so until its cleaned it almost looks out of place.
Stay tuned in for later tomorrow when I make the video and show ya just what I mean by a hell of a nice 4.0L V6 engine roar It's sexy.
Final Price: $344 (309 on goods and work, the extra bit was taxes)

Looks good, but the tips look kinda small.

haha, you noticed! :-D
Actually, about a day after I recorded this, I pulled off the single mud flap.. and whenever I get time, Ive got 2 new ones sitting in the cab of my truck.. Ugh, I need to record a new exhaust note on this.. its been so darn busy lately!
Purhcasing a new crossbed black diamond plate single lid style box for my own eearly christmas present.. so I've been all over trying to find a good place for that. GI Joes is promising, I would almost rather hav eone custom made to fit perfectly.. nice and deep, looking for at least a 19" depth :-p
Anyways, off to work I go!
Oh hey, its snowing out here.. and I did an impossible thing.. i went snow 4x4ing "snowing" if you will, and went up this spot under the powerline access roads that Ive never seen anyone even try.. I limited out my 4x high to where the engine wouldnt even move the tires.. had to back up a bit and flip it into 4 low to even finish crawling up it. I'll try getting some pictures in tommorow when its full daylight :-) Perhaps drag my brothe ralong and have him suffer out in teh cold recording it on my camera
