Push Bumper/Grille Gaurd Answers

I know there have been a couple of threads regarding aftermarket bumpers and grilles that will actually stand up against things other than brush..

well what i researched today helps me and well a few others i think so i thought i would share:

Setina makes a PB400 -

I wanted more info so i contacted Setina:

"I have a 2003 Ford Ranger. Do you guys offer the PB400 for my truck? Will the PB400 allow me to push a vehicle at low speeds? How well does the PB400 Protect from Deer/Wildlife? How strong is the PB400 and the brakcets? Does it mount to the frame and gain its durability from the frame?

Just a few questions I figured I would before purchasing the product.

Thank you

Jaremy Cheetwood"

There reply sold me:

"We make pb400’s for the 03 Ranger, pushing vehicles off of roadways are what they were designed for. As far as the wildlife, I have no idea, I suppose it would all depend on what type of wildlife, I’m sure a deer, elk or moose would do considerable damage to other parts of your vehicle if it was the bumper that it came in contact with first.

They do mount to the frame.

Sharon"

I have found it for 199.95..

hope this helps everyone..

I'm down to buy one. The Sheriff's Rangers at my school have the PB100 bar. I've wondered who makes it, and now I've found it.

The only thing I'm worried about is how does it interfere with the tow hooks?

Does the WAAG interfere with towhooks?

Here's a chart from their webpage.

http://www.setina.com/Charts/Ford%20Vehicle%20Chart.pdf

It says the PB100, PB300, and PB400 will fit 2000 and up Rangers. My question...how is a 2000 Ranger's front end different from my 98 Ranger's front end?

We do not make the pb400 for the 1999 Ranger, apparently the brackets were different. You can purchase for a 2000 if you are certain the frame was the same.

Thank you for your interest in Setina products.

Yes i am inquiring about the PB400 Grill guard, Car pusher for a 1999 Ford Ranger.
I see on your website its only rated for 00+ rangers, how does this differ from 98-00 rangers, in which the Body design is the same??
I would like to know if it will fit my 99 ranger before i purchase thank you
