Give me switch/button ideas

When I bought my F250 it had a banks 6 gun installed in it. I've since removed it in favor of a custom tune and now I'm left with a stupid hole in my dash where the switch for the 6 gun was. I need some ideas on what to do to cover the hole. I want it to look as slick as possible. I really have no use for the switch/button other than to cover that hole so I guess it doesn't have to even function.

Post pics if you have 'em, doesn't have to be an F250, just whatever.

Here's what I'm dealing with.

Lol. I thought about replacing the entire dash panel but even a used one is a couple hundred bucks. I've just been living with it for the last few months, but honestly I'm tired of looking at it lol.

Put some auxiliary lights on there and stick a switch there for power.

If your worried about the plug sticking out, paint it to match the dash.

You could do something like this:

Put some aux back up lights or maybe some bed lights on the truck and put the switch there. Or you could pull the panel out, fill the hole and repaint it.

Yeah put some aux backup lights. Or get a new dash piece. I'll look at the yard around here for you.

I've seen a lot of those trucks with a plug there. Check out Napa, usually you can find one that matches the color. Good temporary until you figure out what to do

How big is the hole? I wonder if you could put a switch there and wire in some fog or even some auxillary lights in the back in case you back into a dark place. Maybe if there is room behind it, you could put a 12v plug there for accesories.

Aux light switch would look good there. Maybe a bull bar with lights or two lights off the bumper/ hitch.

I was more or less looking for pics of switches installed similar to what KLC posted. I'm not big into aftermarket lighting and I will definitely not put a bull bar on my truck. Not my style, never been a fan of that kind of thing. Like I said, the switch doesn't even have to be functional, I'm really just looking for something that I can install over the hole that will look as close to factory as possible.

My electric bed cover has bed lights installed in it already, although if it didn't that would be a good idea. Not real interested in auxiliary lighting.

Put a metal toggle switch in there. call it the go fast switch.
Don't hook it up to anything.

that looks to be a stock piece, toyotas have alot of them standard with their trucks and locking rear diff'f from the factory. Im sure you could go to arb or some similar locker company's website and they would have some. I know the e locker and air locker have similar push buttons for their setups.

Pick your nose a lot, and keep stuffing the boogers in there. Then, smooth it out or sand and paint it after it dries.

lol sorry.

I think the metal push button switch that Kris posted would be awesome. It wont stick out a lot like a toggle flip switch thing.
