Yeah, I try my hardest not to drive impaired, on anything, but if were out in the woods, impaired or not, no one is driving my truck out.

I at least get it on the road, then let my girlfriend take over.

Glad you're okay, that's pretty gnarly.

yeah I messed up picking someone to drive, He said soon as it happened he is paying to fix everything. The main thing is trucks can be fixed or replaced. Friends cant so as long as him and I are ok the truck isnt a big deal. Heck before it came out that night it sat for 2 months so its not a big deal if its not on the road

Everyone lived and that is defiantly the main thing. Did he f*ck up? Yeah. Did you f*ck up? Yeah. But guess what it all worked out. Lesson learned. And I don't see a wrecked Ranger anywhere in that pic so things ain't that bad HAHAHA

Next time, wear your seat belt though lol
How's your head feel?

my head feels fine, its my neck is bad but its getting better.

The project will be fun but its gonna be a real pain. Today after my pain pills kick in I am gonna cut the busted fender and rad support and see if anything else under there is bad

because that tree that he hit could have been someone on the way to the hospital w/a a wife in the backseat having a baby.

Let's not take this thread in a stupid "what if" direction.

hey guys, the point of this thread was kinda to show how well a ford truck is built. Not to play the what if game. There was a reason we were on back dirt roads at 5am, Cause no one is around on them. Either way no one was hurt. The truck is fixable and I bet everyone of you would look at it the same way I do if it were your truck and situation

Thanks, It was but the way the truck kinda twisted around took a lot of it as well. The crappy part was there was kinda an opening we coulda taken and had run off room to stop. Well the kid tried to cut the turn while I was yelling straight. It woulda gave us another 150 feet to stop. I know that isnt much but its the difference between 50mph and maybe 25mph or less

Well turns out so more unseen issues from this, I have 2 twisted vertebra in my neck. It would explain a lot. The upside is the chiropractor can fix it if I can ever relax enough to let him work. But when you are literally in tears when he is working its tough to relax lol

Sucks about your neck, I figured you would have some issues. I would have been more surprised had you walked away with no injuries though.

If I were you my 'friend' who 'drove me home while I was trashed' would not have 'walked away from the crash' , That's ****ed up that he didn't respect your ride.

Glad you're alive, now what does your face look like now that it has said 'hello treated glass'?

my face/head doesnt have a scratch on it really. Idk how

It wasnt he disrespected it. It was a mixture of the turn being slicked over more than usual and he isnt used to a big truck like that. He is paying for every cent that goes into it so I am not all that upset over that portion. Rebuild her bigger badder and stronger!

Thats the plan, Got a roller lined up for it that needs a motor/trans/t-case/axles/fuel tanks/interior/rear bumper. Awesome part of it is those are about the only salvageable things on the truck
