Looks like it's bye-bye for the Ranger

Started getting the itch for a full-size again. Found this 07 with 19,000 miles, factory warranty, chrome package, 5.4L, and from my research, it won't have the plug problem. Doing a week long test run/beat to make up my mind, but I think it's already made up.

Ranger is cooler. Full-sizes are overrated.

I know I'll never have a truck with a 6ft bed again...after having my f350 that is. Looks nice though. What dealer you getting it from?

You can actually haul something with a full size. Not to mention an extra 150 horses. If I coulda afforded a full size when I bought my Ranger, I woulda got an F-150

And the gas mileage isnt even an argument. My gpas 2007 F-150 with the 5.4 gets 20ish depending on how he wants to drive...

I'd definitely go for the f150. They are just so much more comfortable than a Ranger. Not to mention more powerful and more capable when it comes to hauling loads.

Does that mean you'd only have an 8ft bed or if you went with something like an f150 you'd want the shorter bed?

I really like the 5.5ft beds on the f150 and the 6ft beds on the superduty as well, but I've got an 8ft bed on my 350 when I need to haul lumber and whatnot.

I think 8 foot beds only look good on certain vehicles. An extended cab long bed anything looks goofy lol. But a 2 door long bed doesnt look too bad. Not to mention you can haul a lotta stuff!
Dont get me wrong, a Ranger is good for what it is: a mid size. But I would take an F-150 anyday! They are soooo much roomier and ride better and much more capable. Not to mention the aftermarket is endless!!

Not to mention aftermarket support for the F150 is huge compared to the rangers.

EVS in Lomira.

It rides soooo freakin' nice. Everything is so new and smooth. I will miss the Ranger, but it won't take long to get over it.

Not to mention the fact that I need to start cranking out some kids pretty soon and four doors makes the wife happy.

Hehe crankin out kids. I was involved in an argument that a 4 door truck was pointless and anyone who wants more space needs a car? I laughed. Id take a 4 door truck over any sedan anyday! Except maybe a Cadillac CTS-V and a Ranger as a side truck

Yea its 2 wheel drive. He usually gets 12 to 18 because he is a terrible driver (75 mph with a trailer type of guy)

I'll only buy long box's from now. So much more space, no need for a trailer etc., granted an F-150 ext cab long box does look funny, I probably wont have an F-150 ext cab though.
