Picked up a 96 F350 a few days ago, figured I better get some pictures up. 7.3l 5spd 4wd

I've got a set of factory Alcoas to go on it already with 285s (I hate the tires/rims on it now), maybe some new factory style headlights also.

Looking good. Can never have to many powerstrokes. Unfortunately, I have none...one day.

I actually like the look of the truck better without the alcoas.

Yeah, I liked the way the other tires/wheels looked in pictures, but in person they look short and fat. Must be 10" wide wheels. No rust on the truck anywhere. Carfax says it lived in Cali until 2005 then came to Missouri. I had a crew cab shortbox, but it was useless, couldn't haul anything.

Turns pretty good, It's not really that much longer then a regular cab, only 4' or so.

 

Just curious as to why the front bumper is pushed out so far.

 

It would have rubbed with the larger tires. Shimming the bumper is popular on these truck. Some people shim, some people cut the bumper.

Love them! Probably my favorite body style. First truck I drove was a 94 f150 RC and flareside bed 5.0 auto. Next truck I get will likely be a 92-96 f1/250

 

I'm thinking my next one will be a 94-97 F250 supercab long box. Then maybe Bronco or shortbox F150 regular cab

 

Got my chip switch finally installed on my other F350. Much better on the door!

Thanks, It's in need of front fenders and rear wheel wells, but it still is looking OK for now. Hope to save enough to paint/repair rust this winter.
