Instead of black, you could color match the headlights and keep the orange. Idk I see too much blacked out and nightshaded crap here its rediculous

For some reason I like just the black stripe through the middle.

But it also looks good stock. Tough choice.

Any chance you can get a better picture with one with the painted headlights?

Either way looks good to me, so I was trying to save you money. Really just depends on what way you are trying to go with it, painted a theme or color-match or chrome. If you paint the headlights what color would you go with? I think color-match to the lower body color would look very good. Ever thought about doing the same with the grille and side vent emblems, but with the body color? That would tie everything in if you did the headlights. I say keep the orange unless you plan to tint it on the mirrors too.

I'm biased, as I loooove my Harley's on my 00' . . . but yeah I think black with no reflector would tie into the black grille/bumper vents and the rest of the black on the truck (as they are, the chrome almost stands out a bit gaudy).

I'd wait for a photoshop of it though, but I think it'd look great, not that the truck doesn't already!

Thanks korey. That looks really good. I actually like both styles. Maybe the one with the orange the most?

What do you guys think? As for cost savings it's like 15$ in supplies. Not much at all. I was going to work on it tomorrow but the weather isn't going to permit it and I need the truck. So maybe another weekend.

Do it and then change the ones on the mirrors too. Do they make those in clear?

Paint them but leave the amber.
At most, run a LIGHT cost of nightshade on the amber (inside the assembly of course) to make it more subtle.
