$2300 for 97 2wd 5sp w/ 76k miles good deal? Got camper shell too. nice tires runs great except for rattle from i think heat shields on exhausts...any thoughts on what else could cause rattles at low rpm?

 

I think its a good deal. I gave 2800 for my old 94' 2wd back in 2006 w/ 120k on it

 

its not a bad deal, not the best to be had but certainly not the worst Ive seen by any means.
Id offer them 2k and see if they would go for it. make sure to ask if they have any receipts for any work done to it.

 

based on the limited information I have from your post, I say it is a great deal. I haven't seen much out there for less and I have been looking. No idea on the rattle, does it sound tinny? Could be all kinds of things, I had one in my caddy and it truned out to be the heat riser, the only way I could find it was to get under neath it while it was running with a stethoscope and listen.
