Spreading the word

So at first i thought about printing up business cards to stick under peoples wiper blades. Then i realized it would be too hard/expensive to print them up.

So i was messing around in MSWORD today and i came up with a flyer.

Please don't be jealous of who's pictures are in it. I have a reason for choosing these. If anyone's truck that is in the flyer doesnt want it there, please tell me.

Brian's: Not many Red Rangers, and it's street.

Christian's: Founder of course, and his truck is off road.

Mine: Just showing the Ranger emblem.

Brent's: He's one of the few Mazda owners around here.

(You can swap out pictures as you wish.)

Anyone, feel free to make any changes to my document. It is available for anyone to use.

ON THE FLYER:
Where the watermarks are, you can use that space to write a note to the person you are giving it to.

On the bottom were just logo's i used to fill space.

I'm actually unable to upload the .doc file right now. I'll try again later.

Hmmmm... how about one of the trucks in a "real" offroad situation. Those are all too pretty for me -- although they are all excellent trucks.

As i said, you can alter or change any of the pictures that are up there if you'd like.

I'm still having trouble uploading the .doc at the moment, but if anyone wants it before then, just PM me.

it's actually not as espensive as you think.... I got business cards printed up for RPS and it came to like $52 for 1500 cards at officemax, there was a $15 setup fee for the logo... so it you don't use the logo it would be much cheaper and also a business card is RAIN PROOF, vs a colored or b/w flyer ;-)

what about other styles of rangers? what about lowered ones? real lifted ones, actions shots?

show more of a variety and you will draw more people

IM with you on that one. You're showing nothing but clean trucks... IMO there needs to be a heavily modded truck too...

well, my logic of it is, if someone sees a lifted truck, grill gaurd and big tires, etc, that they will assume that there will be offroading....as is a lowrider truck will...well...be low...haha...i dunno....

my trucks not lifted, not too extreme of wheels and tires and etc, but my cardomain has a few action/rootin shots....

i think its a novel idea and i like it, maybe if u can print it on heavy photo paper...i dont think that would mess up in water....at least not as easy.

and IMO the two heavily modded trucks would either be Gildo's truck or Bad Karma's black truck...at least by first glace they seem to show the most work (i the offroad category) but i havent seen everyones ride

but maybe throw in redneckstone's truck, maybe diversify the models of rangers....we're trying to mass market the site, we have to appeal to all majorities and minorities at the same time

1 edge(typically lifted), 1 new ranger, 1 mazda, 1 old skool ranger...etc...

Haha, it's the t-shirt thread all over again.
Pictures are good and all, but instead of using up all that good color toner, how about just getting the word out. That is what's important.
Also that Ford emblem is cool, just remember you might be putting that flyer on a woman's truck...

If you want pics of a new model high lifted truck try finding "ranger trev"...err he has "trev" as part of his name, at www.therangerstation.com . He has a link to his cardomain site and his truck is really lifted there.

why would we put a picture of a truck not on this site as an advertisement for this site?

Yeah, i'd probably be able to save some ink and print more out if i just did it Christian's way, by typing a message in there.

Oh, and can i clear this up Christian... Are B-Series members just as welcome as Ranger owners? Because i was planning on putting these on some Mazda's too. Should I or should I not?

dont leave me out....

there basically is no website for mazda trucks....its a sad thing....but since our trucks are so similar to rangers, we just jump on the boat with ya'll and try to fit in. Theres only few few options and etc that make a mazda different from a ford, but i like this site a lot and am glad to be part of it.

i agree with christian, a simple document advertiseing the site would be good, try to keep it metro-sexual, as it would appeal to anyone.

I'm going to re-do the .doc file and upload it and a new preview later. I don't have access to my files at the moment.

exactly what i was thinking

im just gonna stick to the hand written piece of paper. id rather get one of those then a business type card anyway. if i saw a business card on my windshield id prolly just take it off and throw it away without even looking at it. a hand written one would catch my attention and i would wonder what it was for.

Wasn't it Mazda that designed the B series and then Ford took that designed changed it a little and called it the Ranger?
