Yeah you heard me right. Story goes like this. I got a call from a friend that works at a body shop that does test fitting for aftermarket parts companies. He told me that they needed a Ranger for a test fit on a tail lamp that a company is producing and they will pay me $50 for my time. Hey, I have a Ranger right? I like money too.

I went down and when I got there he pulled out the light and it wasn't the right one for my car. It was an STX style tail and obviously that isn't the right one for my truck.

SOOO I was asked to spread the word and see if we can find anyone local that has one.

What will be asked of you -

- Bring your truck down to a shop in Cypress, CA.
- They will need it for probably about 2 hours or so.
- They will take out your OEM tail lamp and test fit a new lamp.
- They will take some measurements of the new lamp and a couple of pictures.

In return
- You get $50.

Anyone in SoCal? Do the Mazda's use the same style tail? Yeah I know they can swap the same tail. but is the lens the same too just for comparisons sake?

there never was an 01-04, maybe 05 STX model.

 

yes, there is an 05 stx version, but that one has the 06+ mirrors
