01 edge centre honeycomb grille removal

heys guys I thought there was a How-to on removing the centre grille on the 01-03 edge grilles. I ve been searching for it and not having any luck, does anyone know where it is, or if there actually is one? If there isn't I'll try yo take some pics as I am gonna try to paint my grille today

I think there is only a thread talking about how to remove it no actual pictures.

i just taped very carefully around mine.. VERY carefully. i saw the clips where it looks like it goes in and out.. but i didnt want to chance breaking it.

I couldn't find it. I thought there was one also. Ive got everything off and the paint is drying as we speak. After I give the second coat I'll see about getting a how to up. I took lots of pics. The grille didn't come out that badly for me, I was expecting much worse.

yeah you shouldn't have any problem taking it out. mine pulled right out. I painted mine aswell. Just make sure you do it VERY lightly and at about every different angle you can imagine. Watch and make sure it doesnt get too heavy in certain spots while trying to spray another or it will blob up on you.
