01 Ranger: Loud Grind/Squeak from Front End

Hey guys,

Just bought this truck and I have been slowly fixing the problems it has. I immediately noticed a loud squeaking noise coming from the front end of the truck but it only happens when braking and going over bumps. This is not my first rodeo and I know what brake-related noises are, but this seems to be coming from the suspension. If I am braking on a nice new and smooth road, I don't hear anything at all. But if there is even the slightest bump or imperfection in the road when I am braking, I will hear a loud squeak/grind from what seems to be the passenger side of the front end. I can feel it slightly in my foot as well. A good visual inspection of the front end and other suspension components has revealed nothing out of the ordinary. Everything looks intact and there is no obvious play in any parts. All 4 front ball joints are new, I just replaced the lower ball joints and upper control arms/ball joints this past weekend.

I did manage to get it on video, not that it was very hard to do so since it happens every time I use the brakes. You can hear it pretty good in the last few seconds, it's loud enough to turn the heads of people walking on sidewalks when I am slowing down to make a turn. Please see the link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1R7...RdaPAFMUrcqMH6

Any chance this could be the lower control arm bushings? I have not had a chance to replace them yet. Any input would be much appreciated.

Update: It seems to have something to do with the coil spring (this is a 2wd truck). I can jack up the front and put my hand on the spring, then when lowering it I will hear the noise and feel it in my hand as it vibrates the spring. I'm wondering if the spring is broke or the rubber pads are either worn out or missing.
