Which 1?

Ok, (sorry goin off on a rant) I figured since my mom & dad didn't know what to get me for Christmas I would ask for something for my truck. Do I get it? No. "It's not necessary." They **** me off so bad sometimes. You'd think they would get me something that I actually want (for my truck), but no. The only thing they ever bought for my truck was my licence plate holder. I bought my truck & everything on it myself. They both have Chevy's & I think my dad despises me for buying a Ford, & my mom does for buying a truck. They think it's stupid to change anything on it. The only think my dad ever put on his truck in like 6 years was a bug sheild & I broke it off roading & he just glued it back on.

Anyway, what do you think I should get for my truck after Christmas?

1.) Black billet grille

2.) Get the pinstripes off & get a black pinstripe & the middle dip in the hood painted black

3.) or get the wheels powder coated black & the middle dip in the hood painted black

Thanx for helping

Sarah

sounds kind of spoiled sounding to me (no offense).

just be glad your parents want to get you anything.

My mom also really debates truck stuff for gifts, but i think its because its things that she doesnt really know about and she wants to be apart of my gifts...

just remember, a wise man once said "I cried about not having shoes until I saw a man with no feet".

and I say billet grill

Buy a billet grille and pay for mods yourself. Much more satisfaction, and my parents won't pay for mods ever either. I don't think I've ever asked them for stuff. I got lift, offroading rims, cd player, subs, amp, etc, myself. I wasn't even allowed to install the lift(and still am not) and my dad is crazy against subs.

In all honesty how does that sound spoiled to you? I'm asking for a Christmas present. It's not like I xpect them to just buy me something like that out of the blue. They wanted to know what I wanted, & I let them know. They said no b/c it "wasn't necessary" so I decided to get something for myself & i'm asking for your opinion on what to get.

Here's an idea of what it'll look like

I like the Kitty

personally, i would never expect my parents to buy me anything, ever, besides certain absolute necessities. secondly, as hard as it is for all us gearheads to believe, not everybody appreciates modifying automobiles... some people prefer bone stock (see: concours). if my parents didnt care for mods and stuff, they would reject my requests immediately with no hesitation.

dont get me wrong, im not trying to lecture or bash you. maybe you could relieve your anger by thinking about other things they do for you? i know i always took them for granted until i almost blew everything.

um....

want-

1. To desire greatly; wish for: They want to leave. She wants a glass of water. See Synonyms at desire.
2. To desire (someone to do something): I want you to clean your room.
1. To request the presence or assistance of: You are wanted by your office.
2. To seek with intent to capture: The fugitive is wanted by the police.
btw i agree with zach, i woudnt get any of that. maybe the grill

umm, why exactly are u quoting the dictionary?

there will be no ****ty body lifts on her truck, it will be done the right way...once. RCD lift or Superlift.

and why would she need 16x10s? shes happy with the stockers, but seen a set like them on a new FX4 with a gun metal painted and it looked good.

why are u even suggesting these things? just answer the question or keep outta it.

ya we know the black billet grill will be darker (which is a good thing) but thats the best i could get in photoshop without getting ugly.

opinions, we are all full of them u should know that by now.

btw i quoted the dictionary because her parents ask what she wanted? right?

want is something somone desires, she desires addons for her truck, why would they ask a want then turn it down? or discourage it? i mean if it was alot of $$$ then that is their decision to get it or not, no sense in shooting the desire down so soon. why not just say we will see?
