1990 Ford Ranger
Hi Guys,
I am searching to buy my first car and really want it to be a Ford Ranger. But my budget is fairly low.
I found an ad on facebook for a manual 1990 Ranger XLT extended cab. There are only 86,000 miles on it. Lower than most I have seen. There asking price is $3500.
I was hoping you guys could help me decide if this is a good deal.
Thanks
Jeff

HI jtballard94,
If you could try to talk him down and haggle a little bit but if its within your price range or you can splurge a little I would say go for it.
My dad bought me my first car a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT Extended cab 4x4 Manual with a 2 inch lift for $3900 for the promise I would pay him
half ($1500) when I had the money.
It really depends on the condition of the truck and what you feel like you willing to spend for it. I love my truck My Dad bought it
for me in 2012 while I was a Sophomore in highschool. I didn't drive it for a few years because I was simply afraid to drive and I
highly regret that. Well I met a girl I really liked and I instantly took it on the highway to go pick her for a date in 2014 and have been driving
it non-stop. Its a great truck to work on. I have broke down quite a few times but its usually a simple fix or and easy yet time-y fix.
Anyways I absolutely love mine and as long as your willing to work with the truck it will do you a great service, about whether that is a good
deal, you would have to see and start the Ranger and hear her purr before you can actually determine. If it starts, sounds good. has a relatively
new clutch and tires and look alright I would say that is a great deal for a good truck.
I know its a few weeks late of a reply, I just saw your post yesterday and became a member so I can reply to you as soon as I could. Forums like
