Hello, I'm looking to buy my first truck, first ranger and thought I'd ask here about opinions of these trucks, if I should chose to buy either one of these because i'm a newbie

These are the choices at the moment, should i be asking anything else of the owners? and thanks for any help or input


1998 V6 4L Auto 250,000km $2000 - owner says its well maintained thats about it




2001 V6 3L Manual 150,000km $3500 - owner says he still uses it to drive to work and recently added new battery, and few other parts to it.

 

Imo I'd keep looking bro

Any reasons why you think i should pass?

too old? or are you going to try buying it first you sneaky devils?

 

In my years of buying vehicles, do your research (this forum is full of it), and find at least 10 possible suspects (trucks). Don't settle just because it meets your price point.

 

First off before any advice is given I believe this should be asked.. what are you looking for out of the truck.. price range?
