ok, i have been looking into buying an aftermarket hood of some sort for my 2000 Ranger. I really like cowl hoods. I saw a kid the other day driving around in a red 2WD Ranger with a cowl hood on it, and it looks good. I am really not concerned if it is functional or not, I just like the aggressive look. Anyways, I went to a few local body shops around my area and nobody seemed interested in helping me out with this. One guy even said quote "They just don't make hoods for them trucks man." And i was thinking.....thats a load of bull *****, because I have seen my style truck with one. It is really discouraging because I have put lots of $$$$$ in my truck, and I hate it when people dont want to mess with you because its "just a Ranger".....it would be really nice if everything wasnt about rice burners now days. I dont want to resort to sticking those plastic pieces of crap on my hood from ebay, but I guess I am running out of options. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME, ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. thank you

i wish the 98-00 hoods would fit an 04 edge...we'd be all over one.

 

I got an 01-03 hood on my 2000. It lines up better than the original hood. Itz heavy as hell but really sets the truck off.

 

I'd love to have one of those 01-03 hoods on my truck. Does anyone know how much they are from Ford, and if I'd be able to order one the same color as my truck?

 

i doubt they sell them color matched anymore, they should come in primer
