Dang optical illusions!!! The mirror is moved so the driver can see what's behind them. That's why it looks wierd.

hummm still waiting to see a FX4 or LVL2 before i comlpetely dislike the 06s...only thing i see on that truck that looks even remotely attractive is the tailights(wich i may just have to get a set of)

 

the sale price i was quoted was $13.77 per emblem, not including tax. luckily i have a nextdoor neighbor that can hook me up, so i got em for about $9 each including tax :o)

i guess i would drive it but im definitely not going out of my way to get one. i still think it looks ugly as poo on a stick.

True to Ford's idiotic marketing; they're hyping the "3-bar grill". But if you look at the actual grills (F250, Ranger, Fusion, etc.) there are only two bars. They should call it the 3-gap grill.

I'm gonna go tomarrow and order some new Ranger emblems.....

 

These new Rangers are stupid. They've lost their identity. Why not just buy an empty F-150 then you can at least have a big v6 or a v8?

 

I like the tail-lights and the Ranger badge a lot, but those new mirrors and the centered logo on the tailgate definitely aren't my cup of tea.

 

not to mention they could be used as costers. there freaking huge.

tyler (killermonki from GE) and i were talking. just about everything from the fenders to the ford badges are huge, they just make the truck look smaller.

 

Here's a FX4...stupid Nissan fender flares...That'll be first to go if i get one.

My badges were ordered this morning, should be here in a week.

 

Havn't seen any yet....I'm actually thinking about getting a bright red sport, 4.0, 5spd auto, 4.10LS, 4door, Basically fully loaded.....but when they will take less than msrp.

 

I have seen that promo brocure of the FX4.... which btw looks ugly... i am waiting to see it in another color... maybe black or something can save it......(doubt it)

But damn those tailights are nice!

 

I had the chance to see a 06 sport up close and good thing I hadnt had lunch or I would have lost it when I saw the fenders and the look alike Nissan crap

 

The alignment pins on the new 06 badges fit the holes in the 05-back fenders perfectly.

 

the little changes they did to the outside are nice

 

And to think that here in a few weeks someone will get one, join R-F, then read us bashing on the truck that they just bought....haha.
