exactly this... check engine light comes on. P0401 EGR Flow Insufficient. replaced EGR valve. nada. replaced DPFE sensor. works. 6 months later. light on again. another DPFE sensor. pretty much one to 2 times a yr i replaced this dumb sensor. btw the truck runs great when lights on. its just a pest to look at. $45 sensor aint nothing. any ideas to fix prob totally?

 

i just gave up on it on my truck beause the same thing was happening to mine so i would like to know of a way to fix it because my check engine light has been on for about a year now

 

ya. stupid thing. i just bought 3 of the sensors to keep on hand.lol

 

i guess i dont have to worry about that on mine. i dont even have an EGR on mine. it has a blocking plate on it instead

 

you could always pull out the cel bulb lol
