3in Body Lift with 265/75 tires... Look good?

I have been thinking about getting a body lift for my 99 Ranger. I just put 265/75/16 tires on it. The tire size is about the same size as 31" tire according to my measurments. Do you think that my tires would look to small with a 3in body lift? I would get a 2in lift but they dont make one. Anyway, think it would look good? Better yet, does anyone have pics of their truck with 31" tires and a 3in bl?
Thanks,
Chris

265x75x16 is a 32x10.5x16 roughly. I have these tires and NO it wont look good with a body lift to dang small really I would get a 285x75x16 personally

Lol, yea I will chime in. They'll look alright, not the greatest, you'll wish you had 285's once you see the difference. But seeing as you have a 99, which sits shorter than my Edge 4x4 did and you don't have AAL's in the rear, it should look fine since your truck will be maybe 2 inches shorter than mine was. Maybe.

sometimes it just depends. what kind of tires you get? depending on the brand or tire store sometimes they will take them back if you dont like them or want something different. its worth a try

It is a lil small but wouldn't be horrible to drive till you can get new ones again. I contemplated the same thing but eventually decided that for now I was only gonna get the 265/75/16 and leave it at that for another year or so.

i would say get the body lift and drive around like that ONLY if you plan to get bigger in the near future.

I will be driving around with 30's and a 3 in suspension lift for about a month or so untill i get money for 33's.

Problem is they don't make 33x10.5 on a 16" rim. I went out and spend $325 on a set of 8x15 rims, so I can run 33's, 265x75x16 are smaller and cost more then 33x10.5. I think the 265x75x16 were like $30 more each over 33X10.5x15 so I will save $120 on tires but I had to spend $325 on the wheels.

Long story short you already have 265x75x16 on there which would look bad with a body lift, but once lifted you might wish you had tires alittle bigger and 33x10.5 would look great but you would need to find new rims.

N3elz has a set of 15" rims for sale for $100 which would fit your truck, and a set of 33x10.5x15 and johns wheels would be cheaper then 265x75x16.

Wow is that really the case Ben. I might have to take a look at those rims this weekend. Would a 32 on a 15 in rim look better or would a 265/75 on a 16 look better?

I ran a B/L for a while until i had enough $$ saved for new wheels and tires, 33's of course. It looks kinda goofey until you getthe new tires, the 33's defenitly make it look ALOT better.

EDIT* pics from 3" BL on stockers

AFTER 33's
