Does anyone know if 2003 3rd brake lights are the same size as a 2008? And if so could the cargo lights be wired to a seperate switch since the 08 doesnt come with cargo lights? thanks guys

get the thrird brake light with the cargo lights and wiring harness
to wire it all you have to do is tap into the wire from the dome light

Yes...it fits. But...you will have to make sure you get the 3 bulb harness as well. Right now you have a single bulb harness...you need to get the 3 bulb harness for the 3 bulb third brake light. Tap into you power in the dome light....so everytime you open your door or turn on your dome light, your courtesy lights will turn on.

Yes, that's exactly what I did on my 2005. Like the others say, just make sure you get the three bulb wire harness with it and just wire it into the dome light. Wasn't hard to do, took about 10 minutes.

i know im weird, but i like the look of the solid red 3rd brake light.
i sold my old 3rd brake light and got a new solid red light for mine.

i wired it up so all three lights light up with you hit the brakes, ive had a few people tell me my brake lights are really bright, but i have yet to get hit. (knocks on wood.)

ah yes...

thats one of the few mods i have planned.

only thing holding me back is about 30ft of wire.

the way i want to wire it, i have to run two wires from my trailer harness, stupid 3-bulb setup.

Thanks for the answers guys it definately helpled. Im not even that worried about the cargo lights but im picky and if something is there i think it should work whether ill use it or not so i just wanted to make sure i could. I just added in and LED dome light and eventualy want to change everything that i can over to LEDs
