Just curious what a basically stock 2wd 4.0 ranger with a S/C would do in the 1/4 mile?

Did some searching and I found where someone said they "think" mid 14s

oregonedge or w/e his name is has a SC on his stock 4.0 4x4, shoot him a PM and see what his "estimate" would be. Not sure if he's ever done a 1/4 mile but....figured I'd let you know.

 

How much horsepower do you figure a supercharged 4.0 is putting out? Maybe 260, 270 to the crank?

 

yep, D's is about right.. 14.5 on a mostly stock setup.. with an intake, exhaust, and perhaps some injectors/pump and other lower priced things, youd be looking at about a 13.9 give or take.. its tough to get our rangers real fast without doing some serious engine rebuilding
