Icon5 7 Pin Trailer Curt Connector Issue

2022 Ford Ranger FX4, 2.2L did not come with Tow Package. NO 4 pin connector or anything. I put a Tow package on and bought the 7 Pin Curt Connector adapter for installation. Now all the videos show the Truck Connector (like 12 or more pins) next to the tire have both the Male and Female Connector and wiring harness connected on the Truck which you disconnect to add this Curt Connector. My truck only has ONE end of this large pin connector on it (like 12 pins) with a cover CAP over it. There is NO other wiring harness connected to this connector like all the videos are showing which again is where you disconnect and put in this Curt Connector - there is only ONE side on my vehicle, not two. So I did just connect the Curt connector with one side of the pigtails that go into the truck supplied connector and put the existing Cap over the other side - NO Wire harness to connect.
I connected everything else up to the bumper and tested it. Nothing is working but I do have constant 12 volts on two of the 7 pin truck/trailer connections at the 7 clock pin (Ground) and 11 clock pin (running Lights), when the lights are not on. No Brake lights, no turning signals, nothing else. I did test conductivity from Ground Pin (7 clock) to my white Ground wire on Pigtail and it is good.
Anyway, not sure why my vehicle does not have any connector wire harness connected to the 12 Pin Curt Connector Pigtail and just came with a CAP over it per all the videos I have seen.
Also this truck was made in Thailand as I live in Philippines. I thought would connect the one side of Curt Pigtail up to vehicle plug, cap the other side with the existing cap that was one the vehicle 12 pin connector and would still work.
But not working.
Anyone know why I only got one side of the wire harness connection and why not working?
Appreciate your time and responses.

Not sure on your truck, But check for missing fuses in the under hood fuse box for Trailer turn and tail lights
