'94 cruise control indicator?

I have both a '93, and a '94 ranger, both 5 speed, 4.0L and 4wd.

Both have cruise control, neither seems to have a light to tell if the cruise control is on. (the '93 is dead now, but I do remember it did not have a light.)

Am I missing something, or did they simply not install an indicator lamp?

I have the Ford Tech Manual and I cannot find any reference to the light in either the instrument cluster schematic, or the speed control schematic.

If there is a light, can someone post a pix or description where to look so I can replace the bulb.

Thanks, Mark.

No light. Don't think Ford started with a CC light in Rangers til 1996. My 95 doesn't have a light either. There is a tutorial somewhere on one of these forums that shows how to add one, but seems like a lot of work to just get an indicator.

Thanks Grumpa, That was my thought.

No, I don't want to do a mod to add a light.

Even though I am getting old, I can actually still remember if I press the CC on or off switch. But, I can't seem to remember where I put my keys.
