94 Mazda mirror compatability issue.

94 Mazda mirror compatability issue.
Bought a 94 Mazda b4000, didnt have side mirrors, picked up 98 mounty mirror with puddle lights, didnt fit. Mounting bolts dont line up at all and the window seal is way off. I was told by a "friend" (lol) they have been done before. I have ford stampings on my doors. Im 100% sure all the parts are the same other than grille and lights / header panle mazda to ranger. Please help.

thats because the mount points are different on the expo/mountaineer door

Yea, DJ is right, theys different on Expos.
