so, I picked up a 96 Ranger last summer. It was… neglected. “232k miles and still had the factory shocks” neglected. I seriously have replaced everything under the hood except the alternator. And most everything inside.

anyway. I’m a princess. As a consequence, I don’t like a ton of keys. So, I have put an ignition lock cylinder and door locks from a 94. I also put a steering column in my 88 one ton from a 95 f150 so I can use the locks that use the same key. Trading three keys for one.

ive been driving it for a few weeks and I just noticed the theft light on. Also, the other day the horn started beeping. It has only done this once.

is this something that I can just pull the bulb in the dash to fix? Or do I need to do something else?
