Icon5 97 Ford Ranger won't start, no fire.

Parked Ranger in driveway, never had a problem before. Wouldn't start. Getting gas but no fire. Checked all the fuses, all good. It has 4.0 engine. Any ideas?

Does it have a CEL? scan for codes first... it might save you money. I wasted 73 bucks on a new coil pack for my 3.0 and that wasn't it.

Still think points and a distributor is the way to go... all you need then is a screwdriver, a file, and a couple of minutes to correct an no fire condition...
