98-00 Guys get in here...

Well as you guys know oh so well... it is extreamly hard to find replacement fog lights for your rangers, or adding them to trucks that dont have them... well there is an extream infux of them on Ebay at the moment which is odd cause you usually never see them... if i owned a 98-00 i know i would be buying a set right now so here for you guys...

i want to switch to the 01-03 valance some day. 98-00 fogs dont throw as much light becasue they have the dispertion ribs in them and whatever light i put into it they look yellow lol.

i still waiting for them to come out with a euro type fog 98-00 that would be nice if they made that but probably not to switch from that stylt to a diamond cut headlight one that matches the headlight ones

I agree with MonsterGuy, they need to come out with the diamond cut style fogs for 98-00. Good find though

Hey thanks Stone. I had to replace mine nearly 2 years ago and I could only get them from the dealer, I think I paid around $70 for one. Mine from the factory did include the harness, it is all one piece. Not sure if the auction includes it but more than likely. Good lookin' out Stone!! Blades

hell.. i dont even have a valance.. i'd rather just throw on a set of KC's or aftermarkets on the bumper.. it would be more practical for the aftermarket solutions.. IMO anyway

^ im not sure how the wires are set up, but you may be able to just run a 12v constant to a switch or to your head light relay

idk havent seen just the bumper put on before, ive seen the 05 one on that black truck like mine, i cant think of his name but gabriel posted it up during the body lift, i just cant think of any 01-03's that ive seen

back on topic, when you run them through the parking lights they wont turn off with the highbeams, im not positive if its just aftermarket or if the stock ones as well but in va they have to go off with the highbeams coming on, idk how it is where you are but it wont pass inspection here in this fine state.....

that bumper looks nice, kind seems like there is a big gap though....guess ill keep an eye out...

must be nice to not have inspections, i failed last year for having fog lights, they made me take them off to pass cause they stayed on with the high beams, or atlest had to capability to cause they were wired totally differently than the stock lights.....

just hook a switch in there and when your showing them the lights work flip the switch when the high beams goes on...stick it to the man!!!

and the big gap is cause he is lowered and the guys dont care if there is a gap it makes them look lower he just would have needed to move it up more..
