98-03 Ford Ranger Reflexxion Steel Cowl Induction hood

Anyone know if this hood will fit an '04??? I looked every where and it's like '03 is the last year for any cowl hoods.

It will not, the hoods are different styles. If you swap in a 03 header panel and grille it will but I don't know if you want to go thru that much.

You can see how where the hood meets the grille is straight across here on this 03:

And you can see on my 04 how its angled:

I think the kit came with a 3" block for the back then you use the stock one as well. I forget but I think when we lifted it we left the stock one out and the back saged so I stuck it back in and she sat just right.

Next summer I'm planning on swapping out my IFS for a straight axel then I'll go all spring.

Trucks looks GREAT! Welcome to the site man. LOTS of folks stack their blocks that come with the superlift.....don't let the "block police" get ya down. lol.

Definately think this is the first IFS Ranger i've seen with Iroks. Very nice.

Ah the block police can say what they want and not bother me I built my truck for me to like! It's just a perk that other like it too I gess. The pics are all in my front yard execpt when I wuz on the dirt pile that wuz at my buddies mom's rental property. The one where I was doing the 4wheel burn out was at the old dump. Lit her up in to wheel got it stuck slapped in 4low and yanked myself right out. This thing has only had a strap hooked to her twice and that was to pull others out. I live outside Sea Isle city.

A ranger is also lite enough to damn near float on mud and sand. The last time I really screwed off wuz when some dipstick with a dakota got stuck in the mud at the dump and I was driving circles around him doing 2wheel drive burnouts in his ruts and making an *** out of him. Well I busted my left front hub! Ya got to remember this is a show truck that is a daily driver and even though I try my damdest to keep on the pavement some times I just can't help myself. When I start I normally go over board. Some tells me I can't make it thru that hole and I end up with a compelling erge to prove them wrong.
