so i have a 2003 3.0 with bad tranny.. everything seems to point towards a bad overdrive sprag.. pulled it apart and it is tough to spin at all but it spins both ways.. and the clutch is wiped out and plates and disks are all dished.. i got a 99 tranny to replace it and realized it wont work it doesnt have all the sensors i need so i opened it up and the over drive sprag and clutch all look great.. i dont see why i cant just throw the 99 od into my 03 it seems identical aside from wear.. oh yeah and to the pumps.. i noticed they are different designs one has finer gears than the other.. thinking i should i keep my 03 pump but the teeth on the 99 fit tighter but not sure if it flows less or something.. been doing a lot reading
