ABS Problems

So I have been having the ABS engaging whenever I go slow over speed bumps and braking lightly. After reading some threads I pretty much narrowed it down to the front ABS sensors. So I figured to be sure I would pull the ABS fuse in the cab (No. 14) and see if the symptoms went away. As I started to drive the OD light starting blinking and it started shifting very rough. Any way, I figured it had to be because of the pulled fuse. I replaced it when I got to work and it stopped blinking. Problem is that I couldn't really verify that with the ABS fuse pulled the symptoms went away since the shifting was crap. So now I have figured I would leave a little earlier today and try and clean the ABS Sensors. Problem is I am not to sure what exactly I am looking for. Any pictures/descriptions would help. Also if this persists, would getting a sensor from a Junk Yard be a bad idea since from what I gather these are costly sensors.
