Adding interior 4 light strip rgb led

Has anyone added a RGB LED inteior light kit such as the one I'm posting below? I would like to do an add-a-fuse and have the kit power on with the key on ignition, parking lights or headlights. I dont want to tie up the outlet as it will be used for a cell phone charger. I tried using fuse #11 in the fuse dash panel of my 2001 Ranger, but it eventually caused a drain on the battery. Thanks, Jon

IIRC, fuse 11 is not on the ignition, it's powered all the time. That's why your battery is draining. Pick a circuit that is powered on only with the key turned to run.

There's several in the panel that are on the key. The instruction manual would be a good place to start, using a meter to verify it's off when the key is off.

Yes I have. I just didn't memorize all the fuses even when I did drive an '01.

Do you want me to Google the answer for you?

OK, it's simple. Here:

Maybe #29 will work. Use a meter to verify.
