Another truck bed question

I have a 2004 4dr extended cab 4x4. I live in Pennsylvania, so rust has eaten its way through the bed. I looking for a replacement, so what years of bed will fit my 2004 without mods being made. I know where there is a nice clean southern '98 bed, but I'm not sure if it'll work.

Yup. While you are repairing stuff grab some 06+ tails. They look great.

I put a mid 90 s Steppie bed on my 03, only problem is the spare tire lift, no hole.

If you need the spare lift then watch out for the hole, I am guessing 01 and newer.
