That thing is so ugly. I would never even think about buying one. If thats the future of the ranger, I'll be damned if I am ever going to buy one.

 

i think its ugly too, but i bet it will resemble something of the f150/superduty styling, just smaller. (the US version)

 

I hope the do something with the bedsides...it looks like a wannabe dually bed on a single axle.

I wonder how you get a job as a auto-paparazzo anyway? haha that would be awesome.

yeah like beard said hopefully it will look different, cause their ain't no way anyone would buy that around here, and I wish the would quit lowering our 4x4's ( aggravating, DOT )if I wanted to sit low I would have got a car. lol

Well I'm going against the crowd and saying that it does not look half bad. After all, at least it is not looking like a cousin to the honda style pick up that we have seen from other "Future" pics

Almost looks like a Mazda logo on the grille.

 

WOW, what were they thinking when they built that? The guy who designed that should be straight up fired.

 

if you look though the pics you will notice trim pieces are missing like the rear bumper and somthing off the passenger door cab conner and am i the only one that can see the mazda emblem on the front of the truck though the tape thats the new b-series even though i own a mazda b they are the uglyer of the 2 i bet the ranger will look completly different infact i wouldnt be a bit suprised if the end up splitting the 2 linenot saying they are but it wouldnt supries me

 

Any one have any ideas as to engine/tranny possibilities? Diesel perhaps? Exterior leaves a little to be desired.

 

finally.. someone noticed.

 

It's called a test mule for a reason. It probably only has the powertrain from the new ranger, or the suspension or something.

 

suspension and drivetrain are the same thing between the trucks.. thats probably what the mazda will look like, they've always looked worse than the rangers.

 

kinda looks like a colorado...yuck

 

it has mazda badging, but i doubt it will look much differnt

 

from what I gather they just slapped a body on top of a new chassis design, looks like torsion bars but I don't see the actually rods near the middle of the cab...

its probably running a test engine too

 

not feeling it but that "dearborn doll" mutang is pretty sweet.
