AMAZING Price on Keyless Entry Keypad

Found this on Ebay and I think I will be picking one up myself. I want to check on the shipping though because the seller doesnt not give a cost.

If the seller is not gouging on the shipping cost then $39.99 for one of these is a completely unbeatable price. They go for $150 from Ford, although on ebay I have seen them for $50-$100 but this price really beats those!

Seller has a ton in stock!

Ford Keyless Entry Keypad

EDIT: I looked through the purchases on these and he started them off at $24.99 then raised the price. He knows that he will sell them quickly for even higher then the $39.99 so act quickly before he raises the price again!

that would be an awesome thing to have...especially when you hit up a beach or something...that way you can just leave all your crap in the truck and not worry about theft along the beach...may have to look into that...i take it you just have to put some sort of antenna/reciever on the locking mechanism somewheres...

lol that is a good point..would be nice for swimming...Some you wire in, or the others work off of the stock wireless entry that some trucks come with.

no it just double sticks on the truck where ever you want it
it is basically a waterproof key fob you paste on the outside of the truck
instead of pushing in the fob button you enter a combination (that you program in) and it sends the signal

the real question though is whether or not it will work if you have an aftermarket alarm. I don't think it would, which sucks!

It will not work with an aftermarket alarm. You must have the factory keyless entry installed in your truck.

I just got a shipping quote back from the seller and he is definitly not taking advantage through the shipping price. It was actually a pretty good price for shipping!

Go ahead and let the ordering begin!

I have power door locks but I don't have factory keyless entry. Would this work for me as well?

Did you install the power door locks yourself? Or did they come stock on the truck? If they came stock, then you have factory keyless entry. The power equipment group includes that as part of the package. There are not different levels of PEG packages.

Maybe if you bought the truck used then the dealer didnt give you any remotes which means you could go on Ebay and buy a remote and easily program it to work with your truck.

That is if you have stock power door locks and mirrors that came from the factory.

Are you serious????!!!! I didn't know that! Yeah, I bought it used at a Ford dealership and it came from the factory with power door locks, but seeing how I didn't even get a damn dome light I'm not surprised I didn't get a remote. Sweet! Thanks! I'll definitely be looking into getting a remote and probably one of these keypads!

I am serious. The PEG(power equipment group) came standard with power door locks, windows and mirrors. Along with the door locks is Remote Keyless Entry. There wasnt different levels of equipment in this group, so it was all or nothing.

You should definitely look into getting a keyless entry remote, they go for pretty cheap on Ebay. Anywhere from $10-$20 I have seen them.

So according to the seller all I have to do is stick it on my vehicle and program it? I've got a 2002 Ranger w/factory keyless entry.
