So this is my first post, and want to say what ups.....Anyways I have a 96 for ranger, and i did some research and alot of the rangers dont have cabin filters, and with all my research no body asked about the 96, so here i am asking...does the 96 have a cabin filter? It doesn't smell, but when i turn on the A/C or something I start sneezing...any ideas then?

Back when I first got my truck a few years ago, I actually went to the dealer and asked them if my truck had a cabin air filter. He looked it up, and he told me that only the electric powered Rangers have one.

 

rangers done have cabin filters.
they may have a housing for them but 100% garanted that there is no filter in there from the factory

 

so wait, if theres a housing for the filter, that means we can add a filter right?

 

ya usually. im not sure where its at. sometime behind the glove box.
