another fog light q

i've got an 04 xlt that didn't come with factory fogs. i've got all the factory parts now but cant seem to find the harness that comes off the distribution box and goes to the lights. i fear the previous owner cut it off. is it a seperate harness or is it part of the main light harness? i just can't seem to find or trace it. any ideas???

also i found the other harness behind the radio bezel.

The factory fog wiring is not in a separate harness. When it makes economic sense, Ford uses different body and/or dash harnesses for different models, so your XLT may or may not have the fog wiring in its harnesses. The color codes for the wires at the foglamp connectors are tan/orange and black.

i'll have to see if i can trace it from the relay box using the wire colors u gave me. is there a specific place underhood i should be looking? could it be tucked up somewhere? or are they generally close to the factory fog holes in the valance?

if anyone had a wiring diagram showing where the wires to the foglights split off the main harness to post up that would be awesome!!

The fog wires, if present, will be in the same branches of the harness that lead to the right and left headlights and parking/turn signals. Look up from the bottom near the rad core support and valance on the left and right sides to see if the connectors with those color codes are there.
